Understanding HDMI 2.1

What is HDMI 2.1? This is the latest HDMI specification released by the HDMI organization. In addition to

higher bandwidth, it also provides functions such as eARC, VRR and ALLM. Some features are optional,

HDMI 2.1 is the latest version of the HDMI specification, and supports a series of higher video resolutions

and refresh rates, including 8K60p and 4K120p, as well as resolutions up to 10K. The dynamic HDR

format is also supported, and the bandwidth capacity is increased to 48Gbps.

The peak bandwidth of HDMI2.0 is only 18Gbps, while the peak bandwidth of HDMI2.1 can reach 48 Gbps
